A meeting to discuss the future of Milwich Play Area took place on Wednesday 27th March and was well attended. Several good ideas were discussed and it was generally agreed that a range of new equipment be installed in the centre of the area. This could then be surrounded by a grass area with seating or picnic tables. Around the outside should then be a planted area with wild flowers, bushes or trees.
Several hurdles need to be overcome for this to become a reality, not least would be raising the necessary funding. The Parish Council is to investigate further the possibilities with the Borough Council who own the area. In the meantime some costed proposals are to be produced for further consideration.
