November’s meeting is on 23rd November and is intriguingly entitled “Marigolds and Butterlamps.” It is about the festivals of the Cathmandu Valley.
Our meetings are usually held on the fourth Thursday of the month at The Village Hall, Milwich, beginning at 8pm. Visitors always welcome.

Milwich W I 2017 11th October 2017
Whilst Diane Scott created some beautiful Flower Arrangements using Autumn Flowers, which were raffled at the end of the evening, she told members about her wonderful Granddaughter who at the age of two suffered a brain haemorrhage resulting with frequent epileptic fits. She is now nineteen and has received exceptional care over the years and has depended on her Seizure Alert Dog, a Golden Retriever. The dog remains with her, night and day and can sense when a fit is about to occur and able to alert a carer who will look after the patient. Diane and her husband Ivor, who also attended the meeting, have worked hard to raise money for the training of these wonderful dogs to help other sufferers, by giving talks and demonstrating Flower Arranging.
Next month on Wednesday November 8th at 7.30pm at Milwich Village Hall, Elaine Hocknell (one of our own members) will be discussing Good Food and Nutrition with Members. Visitors are always welcome to our friendly W I.
