Pre-School Newsletter

Well it’s that time of year again when we all start to relax and enjoy our summer holidays, so Milwich Pre-School and Lollipops Wraparound Care would just like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the hard work and dedication from parents to grandparents, auntie and uncles, friends and the local community. I think everybody involved in Pre-School and Lollipops Wraparound Care would like to extend their thanks to all the amazing staff, who always go above and beyond. It is that time of year when we are fast approaching our summer holidays. This last half-term we will be looking at different kinds of transports. We are looking at cars, boats, buses/coaches, trains, bikes/motorbikes and planes.

The role play area will now be replaced with a garage, with lots of different things in it to mend our cars and fill up with fuel.

The very last week will be our summer garden tea party, where we welcome all parents and grandparents in to see their children graduate and celebrate their time with us at pre-school before moving in September to big school.

During the last term, Forest School’s at Green Lea will be making a den for all pre-school staff to sleep in (or try to) overnight. More details to follow. The annual summer trip will also take place, dates to be confirmed.

Andrea and Claire would like to thank all parents, grandparents, family and friends for sponsoring them on this year’s Stone Raft Race. An extra big thank you goes to Glyn, the raft builder and modifier.

All the pre-school staff would like to take this opportunity to wish the children moving into school good luck and to thank all the parents for their on-going support. Have a good summer and stay safe.
