First work and training session of the Team – 13th March 2011
The team had their first working session under the guidance of Steve Archer from Stafford County Council on Sunday 13th March. Despite the wet start to the day the rain cleared and we all enjoyed a couple of hours of work in the sunshine.
Before the work
A new stile was installed at Coton Mill and the steps down from the stile replaced. This is a regularly walked footpath and will benefit many walkers, hopefully for several years to come. This stile had seen better days and the top bar had broken. The steps were no longer safe as the picture shows.

For their first attempt, Steve thought they did a reasonable job!
